Thick Top Irish Pine Double Stretcher Table
Ref: 4403
The quintessential Irish form of 18th/19th century peasant table had a double stretcher like this. They rarely go over 5ft. This one is the best quality and heaviest one i have ever seen. An unusually thick top, and two long drawers, one at either end. It’s also unusual to find one that is unpainted. Normally the Irish pine furniture has layers of paint. This could be a small diner or it could be a great kitchen island table. We could even raise it up a bit higher to suit this purpose.
