A charming small 19th century demi-lune (half-moon) pine console in Gustavian or Neo-Classical style with layers of original white/cream paint. It's a country piece but quite sophisticated in its way, nicely proportioned especially the top which beading surrounding it, there are bands or friezes of pressed metal with floral decoration around the front and to legs, the legs themselves are turned and carved reeded decoration. A gem which could be placed even in a smaller home at the top of stairs or near the entrance.
