Ref: 4239
A remarkable table from the Hucul tribe in the Eastern Carpathians and who were renowned for their wood carving and for the sophistication of their folk artefacts. It’s a very early form of table, medieval looking and medieval in style of manufacture, with slab top used for prep and dining and with food bin base, with symbolic chip carving to the plank front. Living in the remote mountains and hills old traditions of making persisted.
