Elegant form, beautiful colour and great condition mark out this very large antique amphora pot - the form is typical of Tunis on the North African coast and pots like this were made even in the ancient days of Carthage. The base has unusual spiral motif. It was probably intended to be sat on earth. For this reason we provide a stand with it.
