Large & Early ‘Kavas’ Terracotta Pot

Pots of this circular or round form are normally regarded as earlier and can be many 100s of years old, they are called ‘Roma’ by the experts, which refers to the Byzantine period, i.e. before 1400, this is beautiful example red terracotta, worn smooth by time, and nicely patinated in green, you can see from the rim how thick walled and strong it is. Stands level but we do have metal stands available too.
