A superb long marriage bench made by the master carpenters and painted by the master painter in traditional style to imitate embroidery and dated to ‘1932’ to commemorate a marriage. The Magyar bride and groom must have come from wealthy families to be moving to a house big enough to accommodate this piece! It’s very solid and well made with just the right amount of wear and patina.
