Shepherd’s Carved Hutch Table in Original Green
Ref: 5792
A really nice example of a classic of Romanian folk art, these hutch tables or cupboards are neat addition to an interior making useful side pieces, the scroll carved front is highly traditional going back to the roots of Romanian culture in the Dacian tribes. The construction is early, slatted and pegged, like medieval furniture, a hangover from the past in the remote villages, it is a true expression of the landscape in that it comes from the “Bukovina’ or Beech Land, and is itself made of hewn planks of beech then coloured green.
