A colourful and elegant coat from Uzbekistan/Afghanistan general region cotton and silk with embroidered floral detail. The arms are dummy arms tied to back, this piece probably a ‘chyrpy’ worn by women as a cape rather than the longer sleeved male ‘chapan’.
