Primitive Polychrome Carving on Later Stand

An antique primitive sculpture carved in wood and painted. The carved figure is nailed to a later cross and this stands on a plinth with the
inscription, in Hungarian, which reads ′made in 1909 by Benedek Kazinczi′. The carving is believed to be early 18th century and the inscription gives the date of the restoration of the carving and the making of the plinth and cross.
