Primitive Dug-Out Storage Bin
Ref: 4623
If furniture before dovetailing and cabinetry was constructed from slabs nailed together with wooden pegs, then what came before that….something like this, boxes or dug-outs hewn from tree trunks. A most primitive example of European furniture found very occasionally in the mountains, if you visit the Museum of the Pyrenees you will see some, ancient presences, sculpture, like survivals of the Neolithic, this one a nice size, very good condition, leave it raw or wax up to find the most astonishing patina.
