Large and impressive antique carved wooden mask from Central Himalayas, monks would dance with these and they would be supported on wooden poles for which there is a slot to the reverse.
Nice patina. The carvings of skulls around the forehead represent mortality and acceptance of limitations, the 5 remembrances of Buddhist teaching.
