A colourful, naive art reglious icon on board in original decorative frame, it’s actually double-sided and shows the crucifixion on one side and the resurrection of Christ on the other. Probably early to mid century, if I am thinking about the date and style to help me understand it I would make comparison with the modernist/traditional reglious painting that was done by artists like Graham Sutherland in the re-building of Coventry Cathedral after the war.
