Decorative Antique Threshing Board with Flints
Ref: 6347
This large rustic item is made of two thick boards of hardwood with flints inserted into one side, macabre, unusual, it’s a device that would be pulled through the harvest corn to separate the grain from the chaff (stalks), a mule would pull it and the farmer stand on top, so it is sometimes called a ‘sledge’. These can make eye-catching wall decoration in home, taverna or hotel.
