Antique Throne Chair with Traditional Carving & in Original Paint

A rare throne chair from Eastern Orthodox church probably for a priest or a higher ranked official such as a Bishop, the design is traditional and continuous since medieval times, the elaborate chip carved rosette or circle to the back of the head rest an evil eye device with powerful symbolism.
