Antique Sycamore Dairy Plate with Handle

A nice and rare piece of treen from the antique dairy, a large plate with handle, sycamore, used by the shepherd’s in the mountains and would probably have been used for letting the curd settle, hence the hard grain which was hygienic and non-porous like a softwood.
