Antique Carved Hardwood Side & Diner
Ref: 5224
An early to mid-19th century hardwood table, with notable folky carved detailing the x-stretcher and a hand carved dentil-mould decoration beneath the rail. It was used originally in a peasant farmhouse as a compact small diner and prep table (though it could be a side table now) but it is versatile having leaves that pull out making it approximately 6ft. It’s all been fixed by our carpenters so the leaves are firm and the whole piece usable in the way it was intended.
