Victorian Silver Locket on chain of Cricketer

As a tribute to England′s sterling performance against Australia at Trent Bridge on Thursday, here is an unusual and presumably rare piece, a small oval locket made of sterling silver with depicting a cricketer, a batsman stood at address with bat held high much in the style of Root.
Nice age and patina.
On fine chain with hallmarks to reverse. 2cm x 1.5cm is the size of the locket.
