The Yellow Sail Boat, Welsh Primitive School
Ref: 5551
A somewhat dream-like primitive or naive oil on board, the spirit of De Chirico or Odilon in a Maritime folk work, a yellow and black sail boat with other vessels passing what we understand is Carnaerfon Castle, making this a Welsh Folk art piece. The red ensign flag indicates these waters are British maritime jurisdiction. Smart veneered original frame with some nicks and hook for hanging.
