Great look to this rare and early primitive dresser it has shelves with bars for plates or pots with counter and a two door cupboard, the doors are like shutters with thumb-holes to lift, the whole piece is supported on stick legs and it has traces of original blue paint. Late 18th century. You can imagine this coming from a most rustic highland cottage and standing on an earthen floor. Very solid and sturdy - a wonderful survival from country times in Europe long gone.
