A remarkable rustic suite with leather upholstery made up of settee, two chairs, armchair and table, this is traditional construction Mexican furniture going back to before the time of the Conquests, the furniture form, style & technique was revived during the later 19th century in the period of independence and produced since then in specialist workshops by families who had preserved the knowledge of manufacture through the generations, this large & impressive set found it’s way to Europe during the 20th century it has nice wear and patina and is in good condition for it’s age.
