A surprisingly late but completely authentic and traditional shepherd’s carved chest or coffer, testimony to the persistence of lifestyle and tradition in the Carpathian mountains in Eastern Europe, where shepherd’s still live herding their livestock from valley to highland, this one if you look closely has a car and house carved on it! It should be in a folk museum. VGC and clean to interior.
