Great look to this small dowry box these were often made and to accompany the larger one and for use to store jewellery and keepsakes/letters - this one has traces of it’s orignal paint, nice age and wear to surface but otherwise very good condition even with original metalware and lock/key. Germany or Hungary. Circa 1800.
