A medium-to-large shepherd's beechwood coffer with traditional apoptropaic scroll-carved devices and original blue mineral paint, various types of these existed throughout the Carpathian ranges and in their own ways modelled on ancient sarcophagus or funerary chests. This one is clean and good gallery condition.
