A type of shepherd’s or Vlach coffer found in Bihor in Western Transylvania and throughout Romania, characteristic long form like a coffin with undulating tri-band line of semi-circles then with x-forms to the stiles. The style and form of construction all of ancient origin. Fully restored, clean to interior, little or no evidence of worm damage. Beech. 19th cent.
