An antique pine mule chest (i.e. box with drawer) in original faux-wood decoration and with later folk art decoration.
Tulips have been hand-painted to front and a charming central ‘window’ with an idyllic scene of trees and birds. We can guess this piece was re-purposed as a marriage chest. It’s really clean condition the top is painted in original grey paint and there are carrying handles to sides.
