Outstanding decorative blue colour to this pine mule chest, or box with drawer. A mule chest, like the mule, is a hybrid, a combination of chest of drawers with a blanket box, hence the name. If handles were applied in these country pieces to the top two row it was to make the piece look like a three drawer chest whilst actually there is only one and bottom drawer. It gives the piece a more expensive look so a mule chest is a pricier piece than the simple box but not so pricey as a chest! This one is clean, gallery condition and in original paint green and blue paint.
