Their painted furniture is famous, decorated not merely for fun, but with floral motif with deep meaning relating the life of the bride to cosmic principles. The interior lid painting is typical of Szekely folk painting. This one with great colour and patina is very solid, the seat lifts to large storage area. Originally a bed too - the front pulls out and has extra legs for support, a handy solution for the weary guest. Imagine this as a statement piece in hallway or farmhouse kitchen.
