An antique pine and hardwood settle or bench with pretty and decorative curving form, unusual open fretwork design and tapering legs. It is finished in a waxed pale blue paint with pine seat. The fretwork design is typically found on the porch fence surrounds of mountain cabins and farms in the Bukovina.
