Antique Pine Box Bench in Blue
Ref: 3609
It is easy enough to find an old antique bench out there and price comparison is often the first thing we look for but perhaps you should ask whether each piece in question ticks the right boxes. We try to offer benches that do tick the boxes and this one is a typical example.
Firstly the size is good, not too long as many are. Secondly it has storage, some are pretty but to have the whole space beneath the lifting seat as storage is a great bonus. Absolutely crucial is condition - many benches hide bug, rot & other problems beneath the paint and buying online you would not have a clue. All of our benches are bought by eye before we start & then afterwards go through rigorous restoration treatments so when our clients buy a bench online and get it delivered there are no nasty surprises waiting in store. Finally you should ask how much "finish" matters - just ask or look closely yourself and you'll should see why we have a reputation for producing classy finishes with no expense spared. Our painting is done by professionals, we try to retain the age whilst giving a fresh new look and each piece is sealed against spillages using the proper methods. £ for £ given the work we put in we cant believe that our benches are not by far the best value on the market.
This one is a neat sized antique pine box bench - with attractive minimalist styling suiting contemporary taste in the modern home, the seat lifts up to storage within - finished in an appealing blue shade with wood and other colours coming though and wax to seal. Seat conventional 47cm height.
