An impressive box bench in original wood stain or paint, gorgeous patina and wear giving a warm reddy brown glow, superior craftsman ship, decorated with spindles and with unusual horizontall spindles to ends of back rest (a feature we’ve not seen before). It was also a bed bench so the front pulls out like a drawer to form a bed compartment.
Very solid. Pine and oak.
