A rare primitive cupboard with two doors with latticing rather than glass, one from the highlands of Slovakia, plate shelf up top with date ‘1877’, you can almost double-take at that as furniture experts would date this on the construction as 17th or earlier, just another example of early furniture persisting in remote areas. The interior has shelf. It’s hardwood and pine and stands securely on four legs.
