A good quality hand-painted pub sign on metal, the sign itself may be Victorian, images and lettering were constantly refreshed and the current painted image is from sometime in the mid-20th century. It’s a bold and colourful pictorial work executed with panache by a skilled artist and with an intriguing image. It’s been fitted to a custom-made wooden support with a heavy chain for wall hanging.
