Painted Small Bentwood Marriage Box

An oval Shaker-style pine bentwood box with decorative paintwork. This is a particular form of box made in Hungary and part of the dowry, the bride would keep her wedding veil for posterity in this box. This one is very good condition probably the Southern Hungarian region near Tolna and Pecs.
