Chest of Drawers »
Antique Apprentice Miniature Pine Chest
Ref: 3092
An excellent example of an apprentice or trade piece - joiners made such miniature pieces when they had finished their training in order to demonstrate their skills or otherwise later as travelling samples to take to a market or models for the shop window. As such they are often very well and finely made.
This one is very good condition, and has a lovely colour and patina as can be seen in the flash photo here.
